Publication charges
Endocrine Connections is an open-access publication. Expenses such as peer review, journal production, online hosting and archiving are covered by an Article Publishing Charge (APC). The APC only becomes payable upon acceptance of a manuscript and needs to be paid for an article to proceed to publication. All articles will be published under the CC-BY Open Access Licence unless otherwise requested.
The APC for manuscripts is £2100 (as of 1 Jan 2024)*.

Discount for Society for Endocrinology and European Society of Endocrinology members
Endocrine Connections is owned by two learned societies: the Society for Endocrinology and the European Society of Endocrinology. The two societies are delighted to offer their members a 40% discount on Open Access publishing in Endocrine Connections.
To qualify for this exciting benefit, simply detail the corresponding author’s member number when requested in the submission form. Once validated the editorial office will send your unique voucher code for use at the payment stage. Members can find their member number on email correspondence from the societies.
Supplementary data exceeding the bounds of the manuscript may be submitted for online publication. There are no charges for colour figures or supplementary data.
*Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to transactions within the UK and Europe.
If author(s) are eligible for discounted publishing fees or have a discount code these cannot be used cumulatively; only one deduction will be applied per manuscript.
